August 26th we will see the release in US of the exciting new Eva Cassidy CD "SOMEWHERE". In the UK this CD has now been released. Meanwhile Barnes and Noble and Amazon have started taking pre-sales orders. You can also order via the website of Eva's sisters Anette and Margret. The new CD has been described by Elana Byrd as 'magical' and it has 'something for everyone'. Well, she wasn't wrong.

It is amazing that at this stage of Eva Cassidy releases a CD can be produced of this quality. There are too many wonderful tracks to mention but if there are two we would like to highlight for you then it would be track 9 I 'GIVE MY HEART' and track 12 the title track 'SOMEWHERE'.

Track 9 was recorded in Iceland as a duet with Dan, Eva's brother, on the fiddle and Eva on acoustic guitar. It is a truly moving track.

Track 12 will surprise you. The lyrics are of course by Eva herself which makes this (and track 7 for that matter) rather special. But its a 'cracking' song. We just love it. On this track Eva's voice reaches all the parts other voices cant reach. Wonderfully produced.

This is a wonderful CD.
