EXCITING NEWS FOR ALL EVA CASSIDY FANS!

I'm happy to announce that the Cassidy family has engaged Academy Award winning director Nigel Noble to create a long overdue feature length documentary film on the life, art, and music of the legendary Eva Cassidy. For Eva's Song, we will be interviewing dozens of Eva's family, friends and fellow musicians throughout 2012. Mr. Noble will have unprecedented access to never-before-seen films, home movies, and artwork. Perhaps most important to all of us who love Eva's music, the film will include many previously unheard recordings-from her earliest demo attempts, to rehearsals, outtakes, unreleased masters and original compositions. These will make for a compelling accompanying CD release. If all goes as scheduled, Eva's Song will premiere in theatres on February 2, 2013, on what would have been Eva's 50th birthday, followed by a worldwide DVD release. (please see update below (ed.). A portion of the profits will go to the Eva Cassidy Foundation, which will support the aspirations of deserving, talented musicians everywhere.
