"The
site was created as fans have expressed such With these eloquent words Hugh Cassidy explains why the Cassidy family and in particular Eva's sisters Margret and Anette have created a separate site about Eva's Art. Ever since Eva's passing the Cassidy family have carefully guarded the wonderful works of Art Eva left behind. The house is full of paintings and drawings. Many pieces have family and therefore very personal connections. Only the 'Boy in the Nest' was ever reproduced (and still available from this new site) and in 2002 Barbara Cassidy donated a necklace Eva had made, to the BBC Children in Need auction. However to paraphrase Eva's father Hugh, Folks want to connect with Eva the person and are interested and have been asking about her art. We have tried on our own website here to lift the veil a bit on Eva the painter. However nobody can do this better and with more insight than Eva's own sisters Margret and Anette. We understand that should there be enough interest the family may be persuaded to reproduce more of Eva's work for fans to purchase. NEW are the wonderful notecards. They are based on Eva Cassidy's designs. An example is the latest ANGEL notecard below.
The site is evacassidy.com. In typical Cassidy family style they are putting their own efforts into creating this site. So it is a labor of love but worth frequent visits as here you will find another fascinating insight into a thus far for her fans mostly unknown aspect of Eva's many talents.
